Prepare for an unforgettable adventure through the majestic Himalayas. Below is the planned flow of the tour, but as you know…adventure always comes with surprises! Dive in and get ready to be amazed!
Your journey begins with the 7:00 AM express train from New Delhi Railway Station. A 4-hour scenic ride will take you to Kalka, the gateway to the Himalayas. From Kalka, a 4-hour bus ride will bring you to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh and once the summer retreat of British India.
Meet your Royal Enfield motorcycle, your trusted companion for the tour. After a comprehensive briefing, embark on a short yet thrilling ride to Narkanda. The route takes you along the Hindustan-Tibet Highway (NH-22), through Theog, and up to the Hatu Peak, offering spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. Spend the night in a charming forest lodge surrounded by apple orchards at an altitude of 2,480 meters.
Continue along NH-22, following the Sutlej River into the breathtaking Kinnaur region. The final stretch to Sangla features winding roads with stunning cliffs and gorges. Stay in a comfortable riverside tent camp in the picturesque Baspa Valley.
Take a short ride to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, Chitkul offers serene views of the Baspa Valley. Return to Sangla for lunch and enjoy a leisurely evening exploring the riverbanks or relaxing at the campsite.
Retrace your route to NH-22 and continue to Kalpa via Recong Peo. Kalpa is known for its apple orchards and stunning views of the Kinner Kailash range. While you soak in the scenery, your inner-line permits for the journey ahead will be arranged.
Ride further along the Hindustan-Tibet Highway, witnessing a dramatic shift in the landscape from lush greenery to barren, rocky terrains. Visit the confluence of the Sutlej and Spiti Rivers at Khab before arriving at Nako, a remote village by a serene high-altitude lake.
Cross the Maling Nala water crossing en route to Spiti Valley. Stop at Tabo to visit its historic monastery before continuing to Kaza, the headquarters of the Spiti region.
Explore Kaza and its surroundings. Visit the Key Monastery and the high-altitude village of Komic, one of Asia's highest settlements. Use the day to relax or explore local markets.
Ride to Chandra Taal (Moon Lake) via the Kunzum Pass (4,550 meters). The pristine lake is 4 km from the road, and vehicles are not allowed near its shores. Enjoy a basic camping experience under the stars.
Descend into the Lahaul Valley, navigating challenging water crossings and rough terrain. Pass Gramphu and continue to Jispa, a quaint village by the Bhaga River.
Relax and recharge at a cozy guesthouse by the river. Enjoy the comforts of a hot shower and soft bed before resuming the adventure.
Ride to Sarchu, crossing the Baralacha La Pass (4,930 meters) and passing Suraj Taal, a stunning high-altitude lake. Stay in a tent camp in this remote settlement.
Cross high mountain passes like Lachulung La and Tanglang La (5,340 meters). Ride across the breathtaking Morey Plains before descending to Gya, a quaint Ladakhi village.
Retrace your route to Sarchu, enjoying the same incredible landscapes from a new perspective.
Ride south past Jispa to the charming hamlet of Sissu, located on the banks of the Chandra River.
Cross the Rohtang Pass (3,978 meters) as you descend into the lush greenery of Manali. Enjoy a peaceful evening in this bustling town by the Beas River.
Take a day off to explore, shop, or relax in Manali.
Ride through the scenic Kullu Valley to Sai Ropa, a serene hamlet by the Tirthan River on the edge of the Great Himalayan National Park.
Spend the day enjoying activities like trout fishing, village walks, or a trek to a nearby waterfall.
Ride over the Jalori Pass to Tattapani, a village famous for its sulfur hot springs. Relax and rejuvenate at a riverside resort.
Complete your last ride back to Shimla. Enjoy a farewell dinner and celebrate the incredible journey with your fellow travelers.

Our tours start and end in New Delhi, where July temperatures can reach up to 42°C. Upon reaching Shimla (2200m) on Day 1, you’ll experience a noticeable drop in temperature.
In the Himalayas, daytime temperatures at lower altitudes can rise to 30°C, while at higher altitudes, mornings and nights can drop to 0–5°C. Rain is almost certain, and snow is possible, especially when crossing high passes.
Statistically, half of our riders are grateful for bringing rain gear, while the other half wonder if it was necessary—but it’s always better to be prepared!
Please keep in mind that you need to be reasonably fit to participate in tours.
IMPORTANT: Applicants are advised against participating in any high Himalayan tours if they suffer from severe asthma, muscular disorders, respiratory or heart disorders, or any medical precondition which might be detrimental to the health of the participant on a tour which involves spending nights in high altitudes (3500 to 4500 metres).
Please consult a doctor before booking a Himalayan tour which goes to high altitudes.
